Construction fair Coneco in Bratislava

The annual Coneco International Construction Fair was opened at the Incheba exhibition grounds in Bratislava for the 30th time on Tuesday, with head of the Association for Housing Heat Insulation Anton Novotny noting in his speech that this year's event is taking place amid the global economic crisis.
"The crisis is slowing down construction output, namely business centres and office space," said Novotny.
The event includes supporting events such as the Climatherm, Conecoinvest and Slovrealinvest thematic shows. In addition, the Union of Construction Entrepreneurs will hold a business conference on the effects of the global crisis, while another such event will be held by state bodies vis-a-vis energy saving in buildings.
At the stands, visitors will be able to glean useful advice from   exhibitors and 20 professional organisations on reconstructing homes and installing heat insulation in blocks of flats. More than 820 exhibitors from 13 countries are expected to attend.
